Standard Operating Procedures for Homebuyers/Renters

(Effective April 20, 2022)

All brokerage firms in New York State are now required to institute standardized operating procedures to qualify home buyers and renters. (S.2131-A/A.6186) 
Effective April 20, 2022, as required by law, Realty Connect USA has enacted the below


Qualifying Requirements for All Buyers/ Renters

  1. Prospective Client's IDs: ARE REQUIRED to provide identification before entering a property or making an offer.
  2. Exclusive Brokerage Agreement: Encouraged BUT NOT REQUIRED for buyer(s)/renter(s).
  3. Mortgage Pre-Approval/Proof of Funds: ARE REQUIRED before making an offer.
